Instructor’s Background:

Holding a CELTA certification from International House London, Nicole Fair has been teaching English as a Foreign Language since 2001.  Her first experience, teaching youngsters in Italy with ACLE, a drama educational company based in San Remo, allowed her to marry her twin passions: the English language and dramatic arts.  With a year of drama training under her belt from the London Academy of Dramatic Art and a Licentiate in Applied Drama from Trinity College, London, she has been able to successfully use skills and techniques from both her English and dramatic arts training to create curriculums that are both interesting and relevant to students of all levels and ages.  To date, she has taught at Grosvenor Academy and at the College of the Bahamas’ International Languages and Cultures Institute (ILCI) as well as running her own business teaching individuals and small groups at banks, such as UBS and BSI, and conducting tutorials at people’s homes.

Instructor’s Background:

Ashley Adderley has recently returned from Hunan University of Finance and Economics (HUFE), Hunan China, where she taught English as a Second Language for a year. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from The College of The Bahamas and a TEFL certification from World Teach, Cambridge Massachusetts. After earning her degree and participating in study abroad activities through the College of The Bahamas, Ms. Adderley decided it was time to experience a different culture and moved to China where she volunteered for a year to teach English to underprivileged children. While there, she was offered a position at HUFE. In addition to teaching, Ms. Adderley wishes to continue with her dedication to community service as well as aspiring to become a published author. She is currently working on a number of unfinished works which she hopes will be published in the future.  Ashley is the newest addition to our team at ESL Bahamas.
